   3 The services that connect directly to the PostgreSQL database
   4 (and Clark Kent) now look for an application_name parameter
   5 as part of the database login credentials specified in
   6 `opensrf.xml`.  If present, the value is used to set the
   7 application name Pg connection value; this in turn shows up in
   8 the Postgres `pg_stat_activity` table and Pg's logs.
