AUTHORS, NEWS, and INSTALL files should actually have reasonable content if they exist. Specifically, this commit: * simply points INSTALL to README via symlink, since install instructions are there. * AUTHORS now notes that Evergreen keeps its authors in the git log. * NEWS now explains where release notes are.
