LP 1656549: Remove Makefile, Makefile.in, Makefile.am This commit adds a line to Open-ILS/web/Makefile.am to delete the Makefile, Makefile.in, and Makefile.am that are copied to the destination WEBDIR. Signed-off-by: Jason Stephenson <jason@sigio.com> Signed-off-by: Ben Shum <ben@evergreener.net>
LP#1312309: Initial changes to web Makefile to avoid copying JSPAC files In Open-ILS/web/Makefile.am, we were copying in some files for JSPAC. Because we're in the process of removing these files, this broke the installation process for make install step of the README. Remove the loop for now, probably more cleanup required here. JSON_v0 has been superseded, and it has insidious bugs anyway. For example, you cannot round-trip this through JSON2js() and js2JSON() in IE8: http://paste.lisp.org/display/127338 Signed-off-by: Lebbeous Fogle-Weekley <lebbeous@esilibrary.com> Signed-off-by: Bill Erickson <berick@esilibrary.com>

Remove the previously deprecated CGI interfaces for configuring the Evergreen system The CGI interfaces have not been maintained; the interfaces available through the Admin -> Server Administration menu in the staff client are the recommended method for setting up new libraries in the organizational hierarchy, permissions, copy statuses, and circulation rules. Note that an adjustment to eg_vhost.conf is recommended to point to the offline.pl script, which is the only remaining CGI script in use; this should avoid conflicting Apache definitions for the /cgi-bin/ alias. Make Evergreen link to the OpenSRF JavaScript files, rather than copy them. This means that if you upgrade OpenSRF, you will automatically get the upgraded OpenSRF JavaScript in your Evergreen instance without having to manually copy the files into the multiple places they live. Your Dojo layer will still need to be recreated, however. Also, use the autoconf AC_PROG_LN_S and AC_PROG_MKDIR_P macros to provide better cross-platform support for these commands. git-svn-id: svn://svn.open-ils.org/ILS/trunk@15446 dcc99617-32d9-48b4-a31d-7c20da2025e4
