   1 Logging in to Evergreen

   7 . Select the _Locale_ to match your language preference.
   8 . Enter the _Hostname_ of the Evergreen server you are connecting.
   9 . Click _Test Server_ to ensure that you are able to reach the
  10 server.  You should see ``200 : OK'' indicated in green for _Status_ and _Version_.

  14 If _Status_ indicates ``There was an error testing this server'', check for a typo
  15 in the _Hostname_ field or ask your administrator for the correct _Hostname_
  16 to use.

  18 IF _version_ indicates ``404 Not Found'', the server does not support the version
  19 of your staff client. You will need to download the correct version or contact
  20 your system administrator.

  22 If your server has a self-signed SSL certificate, you may need to click _Add SSL Exception_

  43 There are several ways to end your Evergreen staff client session:

  45 * Click the *Exit Evergreen* button on the bottom of the login page.
  46 * Click the *x* at the top left of the *login* window.
  47 * Choose *File -> Quit Program* from the menu of the application window.

  51 Clicking the *x* on the application window (not the login window) will not exit
  52 Evergreen, but only close the window.
